SCOPE INSTALLATION / REAR SIGHT LOCATION

  • You will find either 4 or 5 plug screws in the top of your receiver.

  • When preparing to mount a scope, only 4 plug screws need to be removed.

  • Both sets of holes are 1/2” on center, drilled and tapped for a 6-48 screw, and will accept standard, commercially available, scope bases with 9/16” radii.

  • The fifth hole would be utilized when a scope
    installation is not desired and the shooter relocates the rear sight to the extreme AFT position.
MDM carries a complete line of universal
bases and rings for both 1 inch and 30 mm diameter scope tubes (see Order Form). An acceptable substitute base is a Weaver #54.
