eMaineHosting LLC clients may request termination of services. Your request for termination of services must be received by eMaineHosting at least one week (7 days) in advance of your next hosting due date in order to avoid paying a final month’s web hosting. You may request a refund. In order for you to obtain a refund, we must receive your request, delivered by you personally, by your designated representative, or via US Mail, within 30 days of the date on which your website was initially published to the Internet. We will refund up to one half (50%) of the amount you paid eMaineHosting LLC prior to the date on which your website was initially published to the Internet (your initial deposit (50% of the estimated total cost of design and development of the website at the time of publication plus 6 month's hosting) is not refundable. When EMH hosts your web site, we provide (pay for) a domain for you and we renew the registration when it becomes due (usually annually). You are the registrant for your domain and EMH is the administrative, technical and billing contact. You remain the official registrant (owner) of the domain even if you should at some future date go elsewhere for web hosting.
